Public Works Operations Supervisor

The City of Weyauwega is seeking applications for a full-time position in Public Works as an Operations Supervisor. This position will be responsible for overseeing all operations and staff in the Public Works Department. General work schedule is Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM. This is an hourly non-exempt position with a rotating “on-call” schedule outside of regular business hours. This position will be a supervisory position overseeing four Public Works Staff and a working position that assists staff with work in streets, parks, water and wastewater.  Candidate must be an energetic self-starter with excellent work record and have experience supervising other staff.


Applicants are to possess WI DNR Advanced Wastewater and Water Certifications. The preferred candidate will have exceptional communication abilities, supervisory experience and be a team oriented individual focused on developing and growing the department. A valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with class B CDL with air brake is required. The wage range for this position is $29.00 - $36.00 per hour DOQ.  The City of Weyauwega offers an attractive benefit package with Wisconsin Retirement System, paid holidays and paid vacation.
