Can I get a watering credit for water used on my lawn?
There is an automatic “sprinkling” credit given to all property owners in September each year.

Do I have to pay for garbage pick-up when I don’t use the service or the property is vacant?
Yes, an ordinance was passed in 2008 that states the charge for residential garbage will be assessed regardless of occupancy.

When are Common Council meetings held?
The normal meeting time is the 3rd Monday of the month. Council and committee meeting notices are posted at City Hall, the Weyauwega Public Library, and at KD’s IGA. They can also be found in the Weyauwega Chronicle and the City website.

When is garbage pick-up/recycling?

Garbage for residents on the north half of the City (north of centerline of Alfred Street) is picked up every Tuesday; the south half of the City (south of centerline of Alfred Street) has pick-up every Thursday. Garbage should be placed at the curb at 7:00 a.m. on the day of your scheduled pick-up.
 
Recycling is picked up on the last Tuesday or Thursday of every month. Your recyclables should be set apart from your regular garbage and be placed at the curb at 7:00 a.m.

Do I need to purchase a license for my cats and dogs?
Yes, according to city ordinance all dogs & cats must be licensed.  You must bring current vaccination records for your pet and the license can be issued at City Hall.
