Snow and Ice Removal
Per City Ordinance 419-11, residents are required to clear snow and ice from sidewalks on their property within 24 hours of a snow event. Sidewalks are to be kept clear of snow and ice to a minimum of four feet in width. Failure to remove snow and ice in the required timeframe will result in a notice from the City of Weyauwega and a fee will be charged to the property in the event that the City would need to clear the sidewalk. Also, the ordinance prohibits the deposit of snow/ice onto other sidewalks, alleys, parkways, public places or streets.
